Service & SMS terms
Effective October 15, 2026
About the service
Vortex SCADA provides remote tank monitoring configuration and installation services. Equipment, installation scope, service charges, and reporting schedules are agreed separately. Website illustrations are examples, not live readings or guaranteed performance.
Monitoring limitations
Readings and notifications depend on the sensor, power, cellular coverage, connected platforms, and the reporting schedule. A dashboard shows the most recently reported information, which may be delayed. Monitoring does not replace inspections, independent overflow protection, or animal care. Do not rely on SMS as the only way to detect urgent conditions.
Vortex SCADA Tank Alerts
When activated and configured, this SMS program sends operational tank notifications, including low or high levels, low battery, missed reports, and return-to-normal notices. It does not send marketing messages.
Enrollment and consent
You enroll voluntarily by providing your mobile number and expressly requesting Vortex SCADA tank alerts through our documented enrollment process. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Submitting an enrollment request does not immediately activate the service; we confirm the installation and notification settings first. You must own or be authorized to enroll the number.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on tank conditions, reporting schedules, and alert settings. Message and data rates may apply. Any Vortex SCADA service fees are agreed separately.
Opt out and help
Once SMS is active, reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive one confirmation message. Reply HELP for assistance, or email talbright@vtx-os.com. To request re-enrollment after opting out, contact us.
Delivery
Messages can be delayed or undelivered. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS availability is subject to sender registration and carrier approval.
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for how contact information and SMS consent are handled.
